"The Oak Hill Drama Club was awarded the runner-up trophy plaque in the State One-Act Drama Festival, competing against 9 other very talented and outstanding school groups in the Class B Division (the winning group was Yarmouth High School and their production was very impressive!)

Needless to say, I am extremely proud of the entire cast and crew! Four of the cast members also received "All Festival Cast" awards, the entire group received the "Best Ensemble" award (I am particularly happy about this one!), and we also received a special commendation award for "Projection Work"

As a bonus, a survivor of this tragic circus fire event attended the performance last night and met with the entire group afterward to share his story and congratulate the kids...it was quite the moment!"
